Your Handyman Dublin can help you. Fairy houses and gardens are very popular for gardens these days, and even for interior decor — and no wonder. They are cute and pretty, and they stir our imaginations long after we stop believing there are fairies living in our gardens. Previously we have featured some awesome fairy projects, including one for turning an old jar into a mushroom fairy house and another for making an amazing fairy castle out of plastic bottles. If you need help in your garden contact your Local Handyman and check out all his handyman services and handyman jobs.
Both of the projects I just linked are from Creative Mom on YouTube. Now I’ve discovered a new project by Creative Mom to build a faux wood fairy tree house which is just out-of-this-world!
There are quite a few steps, which you should check out in full on Instructables. But it all starts with fastening a bit of copper wire around some wood and inserting them both into Styrofoam. You glue them in, wait for the foam to harden, and connect branches with more copper wire.
You transform the Styrofoam until it resembles the hill for the house, continue working on the branches, and then start working on the house itself. You can use craft foam to do this, beginning with the walls and ending with the addition of the roof. You then need to add all the details and textures, and finish it all off with a layer of protective resin. Add the tiles and paint, and finish up with clear wood glue. Enjoy!!
